If you are seeking a speaker for youths aged 12 – 18 for an anti-bullying message, I have a powerful and inspiring speech that will have a positive impact on your students’ school wide. Today, bullying isn’t just confined within the campus walls. For many students, it follows them home via social media, leaving them feeling helpless and unable to escape the bullying.  This has sadly become one of the main causes for suicides among teens. Real change takes courage and if a change is to be made, students need to have the knowledge and understanding of both the positive and negative impact their words and actions can have on another person’s life, including their own. My speech will provide clarity and understanding in ways that will help students become the leaders in putting in end to bullying on campus and outside of school.

In my speech, I use my own personal experiences as a marginalized youth to deliver inspirational and transformational messages to students. Sharing my struggles in school, from my spiral down to my climb back up, I will help students of all backgrounds realize the greatness they possess beneath all the labels. I teach young adults that nothing is impossible if they are willing to focus and work hard enough for what they really want in this life.

Designed for Greatness: It is incredibly important for students to know they have vast potential and greatness within them. A lot of teens are struggling with depression and low self-worth. My speech will help raise their confidence, inspire them to identify their purpose and encourage them to begin living their best life.

Power of Choice: Problems in school tend to escalate because of the poor choices students make while their emotions are at their highest. My speech helps students be mindful of the choices they make on a daily basis, focusing on the positive or negative impact those choices can have on their lives.

Bouncing Back: My speech tells my personal story about how I was labeled as a youth with Emotional Disturbance Disorder. I was isolated from other students at school, not allowed to even eat with my classmates and put into a Behavior class in Special Ed. I was prone to making mistake after mistake, letting my emotions get the best of me, and seeing every mistake make my situation worse. Yet, I still bounced back, not allowing my troubled past to stop me from becoming who I was meant to be.
